Zimbabwe's government has announced a new day to remember Robert Mugabe's donation who had been evicted last week.

The Herald government has said the festival will be celebrated by Mr Mugabe's birthday each year.

The decision to celebrate the National Youth Day of Robert Gabriel Mugabe on 21 February was officially made through an official announcement in the government magazine.

The announcement was published on Friday - President Emmerson Mnangagwa's day was postponed as president, with the end of the 37-year-old Mugabe leader.

Mugabe's government had decided to announce his birthday as a national festival in August, after a campaign from the youth wing in the Zanu-PF party.

Mr Mugabe was removed from office last week amid pressure from the soldiers who have taken control of the government
